My journey all started after attending Tropical Bloom back in 2014, seeing all the amazing consciousness's around me being taken on journeys through music made me realize this is a passion i want to pursue.
Days after Tropical i picked up a laptop and started from square one. I began to teach myself through trial and error and soon enough after some practice, I started getting the basic fundamentals of creating a track.
My first 'gig' was a small NYE party held just outside Mackay. At that point in time i had never played in front of people nor played on CDJ's but with the help from the local PSYFAM crew, I felt right at home and had all the help and guidance i needed. It was one hell of a way to play my first gig!
I soon made the decision that creating music is what i wanted to do, and not just for a hobby. I knew it was going to be a long road and so I set certain 3 - 5 year goals.. Surprisingly 2 out 5 goals where achieved 1 year early. Once i realized this is all becoming true, I begun to hone in on a certain style and sound.
For the past 2 years i have played at a few festivals and many local fundraisers. A massive highlight in my journey would be opening up for 'San and Tac' @ Tropical Bloom 2018.
..And now, Tales From The Crabpot Vol.1 features a handful of very important tracks i have made over the past few years. Ranging from a slower bpm to the more faster side, Tales from the Crabpot consists of my darker bush prog. I focus quite a lot on this and i can never go past a deep heavy bassline...
